Avery More
Chairman and co-founder.
Avery brings more than thirty years of technology expertise to his leadership role at Vidyo. Avery has founded and guided technology startups, managed publicly traded corporations and led mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings for several companies during the past 30 years. He was Founder and CEO of CompuCom where his strategic direction and vision led the company to become a more than $1Billion publicly-traded company. In addition to Vidyo, he is currently the executive chairman of the boards of AeroScout, WaveBender and Phynomics, and a board member of SolarEdge.
Ofer Shapiro
President, CEO, Board member, and co-founder.
Prior to founding Vidyo, Inc, Ofer spent eight years at RADVISION where he was responsible for the development of the first IP video conferencing bridge and gatekeeper technology. For part of his tenure at RADVISION, Ofer served as senior vice president of business development responsible for strategy sales and relationships. Ofer was also a contributor and one of the editors of the H.323 standard. Ofer has more than fifteen years of experience in bringing disruptive technology to market. He holds a masters degree in applied physics.
Dr. Jon Bayless
General Partner, Sevin Rosen Funds.
Jon has been with Sevin Rosen Funds since its first fund, and has served as chairman of both Landmark Graphics Corporation and CIENA Corporation, two public companies funded by Sevin Rosen Funds. In addition to the Vidyo™ board, he is currently serving on the boards of Xtera Communications, General Bandwidth, Chiaro Networks, and Covaro Networks.
Doug Carlisle
Managing Partner, Menlo Ventures.
Doug joined Menlo Ventures in 1982. Prior to Menlo Ventures, he worked as a design engineer at ROLM Corporation. At Menlo, Doug focuses primarily on information technology companies. Doug is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (B.S. in Electrical Engineering), Stanford University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.), and Stanford University Law School (J.D.).
Joshua Ruch
Managing Partner, Rho Ventures.
Joshua co-founded Rho Ventures in 1981. Prior to 1981, he was an investment banker at Salomon Brothers in New York. He received an MBA from the Harvard Business School, and a BSc. in electrical engineering from the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion). His current and recent board seats include: GenVec, Diversa, Sionex, Yantra, Enerkem, Inotek and WiNetworks.
Guy Sella
General Partner, Star Ventures.
Guy was the Director of Technology for the Israeli National Security Council and the Secretary for the National Committee for Cyber Protection. In addition to Vidyo, he is currently the chairman and CEO of SolarEdge and on the board of AeroScout.
